Candy Coated Recollection

An ongoing series (2017) devoted to a wistful affection for the past; inspired by childhood: sugar and crayons. Both sweet and obscure the gaze of this body of work is a compilation of memory; an abstract from the overwhelming daydream, "When I grow up...". With emphasis on colour pallet and simplicity, Mosher opens an exchange between play and adornment. Made in her studio from found plastic objects and self-casted resin/polymers combined with precious stones and metal, "Candy Coated Recollection" is cheeky, adventurous and bright.
